Access to luxury real estate in Morocco and in Marrakech in particular gives rise to several speculations. Not even the Moroccan financial system is safe from this frantic race, hence the need of a study of the price of real estate.

Thus, next February 23rd, 24th and 25th the results of a complete real state study will be revealed. This study will be presented in the form of a professional training. The evaluation of the prices of real estate will allow having a clearer idea of the real situation of holiday rentals in a Riad.

At the request of big real estate groups, this study will be conducted by an expert in price evaluation techniques. Thus, in using comparative analyses of the prices of real estate in several European, American and African cities, this study will display realities which so far remained unsuspected. With only ten operators in the reference real estate market in Morocco, the authors of the study state, without the risk of being mistaken, that Marrakech is more expensive than Beijing, Miami, Cannes and the Canary Islands. However, riads in Morocco are still very much in demand.

Moreover, it has been proved that only professionals of the real estate sector, institutions and above all natural persons living in Morocco maintain this exaggerated speculation around real estate.

Thus, in order to complete this comparative study successfully, the authors based their study on the realities of Tunisia, a country with similar revenue, drawing on several type examples, such as the equivalent of a Moroccan average modern house intended for a family of shopkeepers established in a secondary city (Tangiers as compared to Bizerte), a medium-sized apartment for junior executives in the economic capital city (Casablanca as compared to Tunis), just to mention some examples. Besides this Tunisia-Morocco comparison, and always for the good of the study, several statistical data were also added. In this sense, elements of comparison such as the GDP per inhabitant or the index of human development have also been used. The aim of this study is to achieve the creation of a believable and reliable model of comparison.
